Agreement to Terms
By hiring Westbrook Village Hall or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not hire the hall.
Hall Hire
By hiring the hall, you agree that:
- All information provided in your booking is accurate
- You will leave the hall clean and tidy after use
- You will report any damage or issues to the committee promptly
- You are responsible for the behaviour of your guests
- You will comply with the conditions of hire detailed below
Conditions of Hire
- Alcohol may only be sold or supplied with a valid Temporary Event Notice (TEN)
- All music and amplified sound must cease by 11:00 PM
- Hirers of events with 50 or more guests must provide proof of public liability insurance
- The hall must be vacated and locked by midnight unless prior arrangement has been made
- Smoking is not permitted inside the building
- No decorations may be attached to walls or ceilings using nails, screws, or tape that may cause damage
- Children must be supervised at all times
Cancellations
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the booking date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 14 days may forfeit the deposit. The committee reserves the right to cancel bookings in exceptional circumstances, in which case a full refund will be provided.
Liability
The hall committee maintains public liability insurance. However, hirers use the hall and its facilities at their own risk. The committee is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property. Hirers are responsible for any damage to the hall, its contents, or fixtures caused during their hire period.

This is a demonstration website created by Elkwood Studios. The village hall, its committee, and all content are fictional. Any resemblance to real organisations or individuals is entirely coincidental.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
