Our story

Built by the village.
Still run by it.

Westbrook Village Hall opened in 1952, funded by local donations and built with volunteer labour. More than seven decades later, that same community spirit still keeps the doors open.

It has hosted wedding breakfasts and parish meetings, pantomimes and jumble sales, first steps at toddler group and countless cups of tea. A major refurbishment in 2018 brought the building up to date without losing the character that makes it feel like Westbrook’s shared front room.
