Elkwood’s advertised £25 is paid monthly. Wix Light’s £11.50 monthly-billed rate is reported by Startups.co.uk and ExpertSure; we have not independently verified a current Wix checkout quote. Confirm the final price and applicable taxes with Wix before purchasing. Annual subscriptions can cost less per month but require upfront payment. This compares a standard business website with suitable entry-level builder plans, not equivalent managed services. Neither builder subscription includes a professional creating and updating your content for you. Their free first-year domain offers require eligible annual or longer subscriptions, not the monthly plans shown; registration and renewal costs are separate from connecting an existing domain. Builder plans include customer support, which is different from having a team build and update your content. Paid experts, apps and premium assets may cost extra. What do I get in the free demo?+
A first look at your website’s design, layout and style, built around your business. It gives us a direction to develop together. The complete website is built after you decide to go ahead.
Can I ask for changes?+
Yes. Tell us what you like and what you’d change. We personalise the website to your agreed brief, and you approve it before launch. Routine updates are included afterwards. Larger features or extra work are discussed and quoted first.
Do I need a logo, photos or written content?+
No. Share anything you already have, but it’s fine to start with the basics. We handle the copy and imagery and can discuss your branding as the design develops.
When do I pay, and can I cancel?+
The demo is free. When we’ve agreed the direction and scope, your first £25 starts the full build, then it’s £25 a month. There’s no fixed-term contract, and your initial payment has a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you want to move away, we’ll explain the website and domain handover options.
