Championing British craftfor over 35 years
The British Artisan Guild was founded on a simple belief: that skilled craftspeople deserve recognition, support, and connection to customers who value authentic, quality work.

Preserving skills, promoting excellence
In 1987, twelve master craftspeople gathered in Clerkenwell with a shared concern: traditional skills were at risk of being lost. They founded the British Artisan Guild to ensure these skills would be passed on and celebrated.
Today, we've grown to represent over 850 verified artisans across the UK. While we honour traditional techniques, we also embrace contemporary makers who bring innovation to their craft. What unites all our members is a commitment to excellence and authenticity.
