Build-only commission for a designer based in London who’d drawn up the scheme herself. Honey-coloured Cotswold stone, drystone retaining walls, and a generous terrace stepping down from a Grade II listed cottage in Broadway.
Five weeks of careful stone work. We sourced the stone from a quarry near Stow, dressed each piece on site, and built the retaining walls in the local style with a tilt back into the slope. The client had a clear vision and we executed it — we still drive past it occasionally just to look.
