Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in the venue hire?
All venue hire includes exclusive use of the spaces booked, furniture (tables, chairs, linens), use of our catering kitchen, on-site parking, and support from our events team. Catering, entertainment, and decor are arranged separately through our approved suppliers or your own chosen providers.
Can we bring our own caterers?
We work with a select list of preferred caterers who know the venue well, but we also welcome outside caterers who meet our requirements. All external caterers must provide appropriate insurance and comply with our kitchen protocols.
What time does the venue close?
Standard hire includes access until midnight. A late license until 1am is available for an additional fee. All music must end at 11pm on weekdays and midnight on weekends, with acoustic/background music permitted until the venue closes.
Is there accommodation nearby?
While The Glasshouse does not have on-site accommodation, Bourton-on-the-Water and the surrounding area offers excellent options. We have partnerships with several local hotels and B&Bs who offer special rates for our guests.
Can we hold an outdoor ceremony?
Yes! We hold an outdoor ceremony license for our formal gardens. The rose garden and croquet lawn are popular choices. We always have the glasshouse ready as a beautiful wet-weather backup.
